Kirby D. Redman, O.D.
Professional and Personal Background
Dr. Kirby D. Redman has been providing eye care for the residents of the Northwood’s since 1980 following his graduation from the Indiana University School of Optometry. In July of 2000, he along with Michel P. Gelinas, M.D. formed Redman & Gelinas SC doing business as Eye Care & Eye Wear Associates.
Dr. Redman provides comprehensive, preventative eye care. This includes the diagnosis and treatment of vision disorders, diseases and injuries to the eyes. He has extensive experience in the treatment of glaucoma, infections, diabetes and macular degeneration. Dr. Redman also specializes in the prescribing of contact lenses. He is on the staff at the area hospitals in Woodruff, Eagle River and Park Falls, and is always available to provide emergency eye care.
As residents of the Lakeland area since 1980, Dr. Redman and his wife Anne enjoy all types of outdoor sports and lake activities. Their three children, Adam, Benjamin and Amanda were all born at Howard Young Medical Center and raised in Minocqua.
